For B.Sc Nursing (4 years):
- You must have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.

- You must have passed 10+2.
- You must have GNM (General Nursing Midwifery) certificate.
- You must be registered with any State Nurses Registration Council.
For M.Sc Nursing or NPCC (2 years):
- You must have B.Sc Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc Nursing with at least 55% marks.
- You must have 1 year of work experience (clinical or teaching) after basic B.Sc.
- You must be a registered nurse and midwife.
UP CNET Exam Pattern?
The UP CNET 2026 exam pattern is simple and student-friendly. It is an offline test where you fill answers on an OMR sheet using pen and paper. The paper has 120 multiple-choice questions carrying 120 marks in total, with each correct answer giving you 1 mark and no negative marking for wrong answers. You get 140 minutes (2 hours 20 minutes) to finish the exam.
