Later, on April 16, 2026, the Yuva Shakti Bharosa Card was symbolically launched in Kolkata. This launch was done by two famous sports stars who recently joined the BJP.

Both spoke strongly about how the youth of Bengal are being forced to leave the state because there are not enough jobs.
Leander Paes said, “For every youth until they find a job, we will support with Rs 3000 to make them stand on their feet.” He also spoke about the need for a “double engine” government — meaning the same party ruling both the Centre and the state — so that Bengal can develop faster.
