How Much Money Will You Get?
Under this scheme, every eligible beneficiary receives Rs. 4,000 per year. However, the full amount is not given in one lump sum. Instead, the government splits it into two equal installments of Rs. 2,000 each.
First installment (Rs. 2,000) : Given during the Kharif (monsoon) cropping season.
Second installment (Rs. 2,000) : Given during the Rabi (winter) cropping season.
The money is sent directly to the beneficiary’s bank account through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system. This means there is no middleman involved, and the cash reaches you safely.

Follow these basic steps to see if your money is approved or sent:
Step 1: Open the internet on your phone and go to the official Krishak Bandhu website.
Step 2: Look for the option named “Farmer Search” or “Know Your Status” and click on it.
Step 3: A new page will open asking for an ID. You can choose to use your Aadhaar Number, Voter ID, Mobile Number, or Bank Account Number.
Step 4: Type your chosen ID number correctly in the blank box.
Step 5: Fill in the small security code (captcha) that you see on the screen.
Step 6: Click the “Search” button to view your details.
What If You See “No Record Found”?
If you see “No Record Found” after searching, there is no need to panic. The government received lakhs of applications from across the state. Digitizing these paper forms takes time, and different districts are progressing at different speeds. If your details do not appear today, wait for a week and check again. This message does not mean that your application has been rejected.

How do I know if the money has reached my bank account?
You can check your bank passbook or use your bank’s mobile app. The transaction will show a credit from the West Bengal government under the DBT scheme. You can also check the payment status online using the steps given above.
