The phone was announced in China on September 1, 2025, and went on sale there soon after. Many news reports say the India launch should happen soon, but we are still waiting for a confirmed date from Vivo India.
Vivo Y500 5G Price in India (Expected)
The phone was first launched in China, so we do not yet have an official Indian price from Vivo. However, looking at the China price and past launches, we can make a good guess.
In China: The base model (8GB RAM + 128GB storage) was launched at around CNY 1,399. That is roughly ₹17,200 in Indian money. The top model (12GB RAM + 512GB storage) came at around CNY 1,999, which is about ₹24,600.
Expected in India: Most tech websites and experts believe the Vivo Y500 5G will be priced between ₹17,000 and ₹20,000 when it finally arrives here. This would place the phone firmly in the popular mid-range segment.
