What is the Annapurna Bhandar Scheme?
The BJP announced it before the 2026 West Bengal elections. The party said that if they came to power in the state, they would give Rs 3,000 every month to women.
This scheme is seen as a bigger replacement for the current Lakshmi Bhandar scheme run by the previous government. Under the existing scheme, women from the general category get Rs 1,500 per month and women from Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe communities get Rs 1,700 per month. The new Annapurna Bhandar promises almost double that amount.
Has the Annapurna Bhandar Scheme Started?Â
As of today (May 11, 2026), the Annapurna Bhandar scheme has not officially started yet. The new BJP government in West Bengal just formed a few days ago. The swearing-in ceremony of Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari happened only on May 9, 2026.
The first cabinet meeting of the new government is scheduled for today, May 11, 2026. News reports say that the Annapurna Bhandar scheme is on the agenda for discussion in this meeting.
However, no official government order or notification has been issued yet. Without an official notification, the application process cannot begin. So, if anyone tells you that the form is out right now, they are not giving you correct information.
Experts believe the scheme could start rolling out from June 2026. The application process might begin in May itself, but only after the government makes a formal announcement.
Annapurna Bhandar Form Download PDF
The Annapurna Bhandar application form is NOT available for download yet, whether as a PDF or in any other format. There is a very strong reason for this. The scheme has not been formally launched by the new government. Until an official order is passed and a dedicated portal or process is created, there cannot be an authentic application form.
Several misleading YouTube videos and social media posts are claiming to have the form. Some of these have already been flagged as fake. Filling out such fake forms can put your personal information at risk.

How Will You Get The Annapurna Bhandar Form ?
Online Method:Â The government is likely to launch an official website or portal. You will be able to visit that site and download the application form in PDF format. It is also expected that you can fill out the form online directly on that portal.
Offline Method:Â BJP workers had already started door-to-door campaigns to distribute “guarantee cards” and collect preliminary information during the election period. Once the scheme is official, application forms may also be made available at local government offices, Block Development Offices, or through Duare Sarkar camps.
Official Announcement:Â The government will announce the exact method, the official website address, and the dates through newspapers, TV news, and official press releases.
